See Tony Laithwaite at Henley Literary Festival

For years we’ve supported Henley Literary Festival, but this year we’re doing one better!

Tony Laithwaite will have his own event at the festival, sharing stories from his memoir Direct, released this year in celebration of his 50th anniversary of working in wine.

On Saturday 28th September, Tony will sit down with veteran reporter Jon Ryan to talk about how his passion project that began in a railway arch in Windsor 50 years ago became the worldwide number one home-delivery wine merchant.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Laithwaite event without a glass of wine or two, so ticket holders will also be treated to some of our favourite bottles during the talk at the Town Hall in Henley-on-Thames, South Oxfordshire.
