The Great Christmas Countdown!

It looks like Christmas will be a little different this year. But one thing’s for sure – our Great Christmas Countdown is the perfect way to get you into the festive spirit from the comfort of your own home. And we’ll be doing our best to bring you and your fellow wine lovers together on Instagram … over a great glass or two, of course.

Got one of our wine advent calendars? Then catch up with us on Instagram as we reveal each wine and tell you about the people and places that produce them. The calendar sold out fast, but you can still join in if you don’t have one. Enjoy the stories and fun facts and maybe even stock up on the individual wines. Look out for the voucher codes too and try something new and delicious.

The countdown starts at 7pm on Tuesday December 1st. Follow us on Instagram @laithwaites.wine and let’s do that first big reveal together. You can then discover more about the wines behind each window at 7pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends. I can’t wait for that special last bottle on Christmas Eve!

Remember, Christmas is for sharing. Post your festive wine moments, photos and stories on Instagram @laithwaites.wine using #TheGreatChristmasCountdown and give us your thoughts on each advent wine – or anything else in our range. We’d love to see which Laithwaite’s wines you’re loving in the run-up to Christmas. Enjoy all that opening, pouring, sipping – and posting!

Here’s to sharing some magical wine moments this Christmas.

  1. I bought two Christmas countdown boxes and although 23 of the wines were excellent the 24 Th – didier Chopin champagne brut – both bottles were undrinkable – tasting quite off and very dark yellow in colour – what a disappointment on Christmas Eve.
