Talking about his latest book, The Chinese Conundrum, former leader of the Liberal Democrats Sir Vince Cable appeared at the Henley Literary Festival.
He joined Laithwaites’ Grant Hedley, a former constituent of Sir Vince, for a glass of wine and a chat and the recent Covid-19 pandemic, the election of US president Joe Biden and the relationship between China and the West.
With such a heavy topic we felt a classic wine was the only option, and opted for Tony Laithwaite’s very own Château La Clarière.
