Game of Thrones fans all around the world are anxiously awaiting the start of the eighth and final instalment of the epic series.
Available to watch on Sky Atlantic in the UK from Monday the 15th of April, viewers will be hoping season eight wraps the saga up with more epic battle scenes and shock revelations.
The final episode of the seventh series saw the Night King and his army of wights march on The Wall, aided by the undead dragon Viserion.
What will happen next is anyone’s guess as the plot for the final six episodes has been kept a closely guarded secret since filming began in October 2017.
Wines to drink while watching Game of Thrones
Wine has been a prominent theme throughout the series: Cersei and Tyrion Lannister both drink copious amounts of the stuff (the wine from Dorne is apparently the best), while Ser Jorah Mormont saved Daenerys Targaryen from an untimely death when she was offered a glass of poisoned wine at the Western Market.
