This is what they really came for … the Confrères annual lunch in a resplendent Château La Clarière.
After getting stuck into the juicy barrels of 2021 Grand Blanc and Red we had Jean Marc’s choice from our 38 vintages. 2016, 2015, 2011 and … I lost my concentration at that point.
Ate a lot … pièce de resistance; Entrecôte a la Bordelaise barbecued over La Clarière vine embers. Lovely.
But it’s the lovely lovely people, who make it a lovely trip. Sorry it had to end. Hope to see you again … somewhere.
