Harvest for the 2016 vintage of sparkling wine has just been completed at Windsor Great Park Vineyard, under the auspices of the greatest château of them all, Windsor Castle. Join us for a look behind the scenes in this latest video or pre-order your share of the much-anticipated second vintage here.
Vines were first planted here in the 12th century and Tony Laithwaite was delighted to be given the opportunity by the Crown Estate and Royal Farms to revive this ancient tradition.
Pre-orders are currently being taken for the second release from this estate and the house style of Windsor Great Park Vineyard Sparkling is rich, rounded fizz with flavours of cherry blossom, crisp apple and ripe peach – and of course, it’s entirely exclusive to Laithwaite’s Wine.
